Triple Threat Edges Out Mambacitos in Down-to-the-Wire Sunday Thriller

The matchup between Mambacitos and Triple Threat on Sunday, September 13, provided the most suspenseful action of the week, ultimately decided by a narrow five-point margin. With the game locked in a tight battle, Triple Threat utilized a balanced effort on the glass and timely defensive stops to secure the 57–52 victory. Roman Hashemi was a force for the winners, pulling down 16 rebounds while chipping in 8 points on efficient 3-of-5 shooting. Kendall Sutton acted as the primary engine for Triple Threat, pouring in 17 points and coming away with 3 steals to disrupt Mambacitos' rhythm. Despite the loss, Mambacitos received a strong offensive performance from Rome Flynn, who dropped 23 points and connected on 5-of-14 shots from behind the arc. The game remained a possession-by-possession grind, but Triple Threat’s composure in the final minutes proved to be the deciding factor in a hard-fought contest.

For Box Art Legends, Dwayne Lee attempted to keep pace with a 27-point outing that featured 7-of-12 shooting from long range. Michael Van Wyk provided a physical presence in the paint for the Legends, recording a double-double with 10 points and 12 rebounds. While NextGen controlled the perimeter scoring, Sabeel Khan contributed vital playmaking with 6 assists to help seal the win.

Klutch 69, Peak Vibrations 49

Klutch maintained their undefeated status by dictating the pace in a decisive 20-point victory over Peak Vibrations. Craig Boozer paced the Klutch scoring attack with 24 points, including four successful shots from three-point range. Chandler Sanders nearly recorded a triple-double, finishing with 18 points, 9 rebounds, and 9 assists, while Amir Mohamed anchored the interior with 12 points and 10 rebounds. Ertugrul Mehmet was the standout for Peak Vibrations, controlling the glass with a game-high 18 rebounds to go along with 22 points. Despite Mehmet’s interior dominance, Peak Vibrations struggled to find consistent offense outside of Dino Pepic, who added 12 points in the effort.

7 Nation Army 104, Aqsa Elite 58

7 Nation Army put on a clinical display of offensive firepower, overwhelming Aqsa Elite in a 104–58 blowout. The victors showcased incredible ball movement, led by Nasir Kareem’s 10-assist double-double, as they pushed the tempo from the opening tip. Aeshraff Dabbas was highly efficient, converting 8-of-10 field goals for 17 points, while Bruce Haidrey provided 16 points and 4 steals. Anthony Shallowhorn led the scoring for Aqsa Elite with 18 points, including five shots from behind the arc, and Ramon Mejia contributed 15 points. The sheer depth of the 7 Nation Army roster was too much to handle, as five different players reached double figures in scoring to move their record to 4-0.
